12 Game of Thrones sequel series we want to see

6. THE AMOROUS ADVENTURES OF POD AND ROBIN

They’re young, they’re rich and they’re girl-magnets. Who are we talking about? Why, the newly-anointed Kingsguard Ser Podrick Payne and the all-grown-up Lord of the Eyrie, Robyn Arryn. This  series follows the love lives of these two handsome, goodhearted and bungling wannabe Lotharios who are often outwitted by the objects of their affections.

Set soon after the Game of Thrones finale, the show would provide a great vehicle for original show character cameos or recurring parts. Brienne of Tarth would be a regular voice of temperance in Pod’s ear, poo-poo Pod’s constant lady-scheming, while Bran the Broken would creep out his dates by revealing uncomfortable personal secrets without knowing he’s breaking social norms.

And while these two dorks are constantly working to inflate their own egos, the women they truly love continue to remain unimpressed. These guys are far from perfect — Pod still has a lot to learn about fighting and Robin is far from over his mommy-issues — but they also have hearts of gold.

Along with a supporting cast of oddball buddies, “The Amorous Adventures of Pod and Robin” would offer a “Friends”-type comedic take on the Thrones universe.
