8. REVENGE OF THE NIGHT QUEEN

We’d love to see another round of battle with the impossibly enigmatic, evil forces of the icy North, and their mysterious origin and culture make for a host of possibilities. We know the Night King was destroyed along with all his White Walker lieutenants and the massive wight army, but that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the absolute end of these winter creatures.

In this series, set one hundred years in the post-Thrones future, the wildings begin seeing hints of another long winter approaching, along with telltale signs that the White Walkers weren’t destroyed completely. No one knows how this re-emergence could happen, but the long-defunct Night’s Watch is reactivated and the Wall, along with it’s associated forts, are restored.

Who and what is the threat emanating from the northern wastes once again? This show envisions the existence of a Night Queen, a being far more powerful and complex than the Night King, who has emerged along with a powerful new legion of followers who are half-human, half-White Walker.

These new creatures are the sons sacrificed by Craster. Yes, we originally figured that the babies evolved into the White Walkers themselves, but that was a faulty assumption: raised by the Night Queen, Craster’s kids have been made into something else entirely.
