Five Game of Thrones YouTube channels worth checking out
By Cory Thone
Bridge4
Up next is bridge4. This one is a little less serious than the previous two channels, but still features great analysis on a variety of topics. One of the things I like most about this channel is that they consistently upload content without getting into a rut of only doing theories, or only doing lists. They have both, sure, but they keep it varied.
Check out this video about how Dany hatched her dragon eggs. It’s got great analysis of text from the book, as well as direct references to the show.
The thing about the lore of Game of Thrones is that it’s split between the book world and the TV world. So you’ll have content like the stuff on Alt Shift X, which is geared specifically towards TV watchers and uses the books mostly as a reference point, and then content like you’ll find at bridge4, which often leans heavily into the novels. With a story this deep, there’s always something for everyone.
