HBO is gearing up for the second half of 2019, and that means the return of Succession. The show follows the fictional Roy family, who owns the fifth largest media and entertainment company in the world. They are extremely rich and even more dysfunctional. (And they’re certainly not based on the Murdoch family, who own many media outlets. Nope. Nuh-uh.) If you love high drama, excellent writing, and deeply complex character-driven stories, then Succession is for you.

Season 1 aired last year and we loved it. In fact, Game of Thrones fans should feel right at home watching Succession, as the Roy family is basically House Lannister a few centuries into the future. Now, HBO has just released a full-length trailer for season 2, as well as a premiere date. Check it out:

“The key here is to act like a happy family. We’re the Osmonds, and I’m Daddy f**king Warbucks, okay?” Yeah, I’m pretty sure Tywin Lannister said the same thing to Jaime, Cersei and Tyrion. Gods, how I missed this show.
