Little did we know that Stranger Things 3 was going to give us a musical number this time around! If you’re like me, you were shocked and delighted to find that A) Suzie, Dustin’s girlfriend, was real; and B) they decided to sing a song together to save the world.

In order to get into the Russian lab and destroy the dimension-tearing device inside, Joyce and Hopper needed Planck’s constant. And the only way they were going to get it — because let’s not forget it’s the ’80s and they can’t just hop on Google and search — is by asking Dusty-bun’s super-smart girlfriend.

Luckily, she comes through, but not before coaxing Dustin into singing the theme song of The Neverending Story. No one saw this coming but it’s definitely the season’s cutest moment. If you know a little about Gaten Matarazzo, then it should come as no surprise that he has quite the voice on him!
