Are Jonathan and Nancy still together? What about Mike and Eleven?

The gang fought a lot of ookey-spooky creepy-crawlies this season, but the bigger developments may have been in their personal lives. With several of the characters moving away from Hawkins, their relationships are put in jeopardy. Mike and Eleven sound like they’re going to try and make the long distance thing work, but Jonathan and Nancy didn’t seem as optimistic. They clearly feel for each other, but their final, pained scene in the old Byers place felt like it could be goodbye, although it’s not certain.

Mike and Eleven are young enough to think that they can successfully maintain a long-distance relationship. After all, it seems to be working for Dustin and Suzie. Jonathan and Nancy are soon heading off in different directions, and may be old enough to know how hard that is to do while still putting in the work a relationship needs to flourish. Is it time for them to part ways?

And of course, Lucas and Max are fine. They immediately found their groove as the couple that fights all the time before reconciling. You gotta find your niche.
