Fans have been waiting for over two years for new episodes of Rick and Morty, the trippy, off-color Adult Swim show about an abrasive super-genius and his hapless grandson. For a while, it looked like they might be waiting forever, but eventually creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon reached an agreement with the cable channel, and we have 70 new episodes on tap over the next however many years.

The fourth season of the show kicks off in November, and Rick and Morty are happy to tell you themselves:

We’ll probably learn more specifics this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, but for now, Entertainment Weekly has released a couple of advance images:

First, we have Rick looking blissed out on an alien planet, running through golden fields of god-knows-what, doing a whole Gladiator thing:

In the other pic, Rick talks with some kind of lizard-robot hybrid, which is probably the 11th weirdest thing he did that day.

The third season of Rick and Morty was hugely popular among the coveted millennial demographic back in 2017, and Adult Swim is surely hoping for it to repeat or even improve on its performance. Whatever happens, Rick and Morty will be around for a while. Get schwifty and so on and so forth.
