Check out the new Sith Troopers on the floor at San Diego Comic-Con
Ever since Disney began focusing all its considerable might into making its D23 Expo the premier convention for all things Star Wars — as well as everything else from the House of Mouse — Lucasfilm has had a decreasing presence at San Diego Comic-Con. This year is no different; so far as Star Wars goes, there are only a few panels featuring Star Wars books and comics, collectibles, and an ILMxLAB panel that will focus on the Vader Immortal VR game, plus a Lucasfilm pavilion sporting Storm Trooper designs from the movies throughout the years.
And okay, that’s actually still quite a lot of Star Wars stuff, but you’ve gotta think in relative terms when it comes to this franchise.
People are currently uploading pics and videos from the Lucasfilm pavilion, which features the new Sith Trooper design from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Let’s have a look:

From left to right, we have the Endor Scout Trooper from Return of the Jedi, the regular Storm Trooper from the original trilogy, the TIE Fighter suit from the original trilogy, the Death Trooper from Rogue One, the all-new Sith Trooper from The Rise of Skywalker, the Shoretrooper from Rogue One, the First Order TIE fighter suit from the sequel trilogy, and Captain Phasma’s (Gwendoline Christie) armor from the sequel trilogy.
The video playing behind the Storm Trooper display shows how the Sith Trooper came to be:

Meanwhile, at the Hasbro booth, there’s a cool display of Star Wars figures acting out a scene from all nine movies:
And LEGO has a life-sized Sith Trooper on display:
Lucasfilm is going hard on the marketing for this thing.

The Lucasfilm pavilion will have a limited amount of the posters each day, but the Darth Vader poster can only be acquired by attending the ILMxLAB panel on Friday. Let’s have a look:
Counting Lord Vader, there are six posters in all.
