The Last Kingdom stars live their best lives during season 4 filming break
By Corey Smith
Netflix is halfway through filming the fourth season of its excellent medieval drama The Last Kingdom, and the cast and crew are officially on summer break.
And boy, are they taking advantage and living their best life while they can. First up, watch the moment when Mark Rowley (Finan) and Arnas Fedaravicius (Sithric) learn they’ve been released by their lord,
Uhtred
Netflix:
Where might Rowley be headed? The French Mediterranean island of Corsica. Looks beautiful.
But before Rowley left town, he found time to hit the gym with onscreen foe Cnut (Magnus Bruun). They’ve got to keep in shape for when they destroy each other.
Later, Bruun parted ways with Rowley and hit up a music festival in Denmark where the onscreen Viking apparently had one too many horns of ale.
Meanwhile, Eliza Butterworth (Aelswith) shared a tender moment with onscreen daughter Millie Brady (Aethelflaed)…
…before hitting up what looks like a rather insane foam party. Aelswith is usually pretty dour, so it’s good to see Butterworth enjoy herself!
Not to be left out, Adrian Bouchet (Steapa) sent his best wishes out to all the fans.
Steapa might not be the nicest guy, but Bouchet sure seems to be.

Hopefully, the break refreshes the cast for the second half of filming. We can’t wait for season 4, which Netflix willing will be out as early as possible in 2020. Destiny is all!
