Welcome back to Take the Black Live, the show where we cover all the latest in Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire news, together with a smattering of other sci-fi and fantasy news. Watch us blather above!

First and foremost, we’re celebrating the end of filming on Blood Moon by looking at some of the set photos we missed when we were away for a week! There are boats, there are costumes, and there are even some nautical terms that are probably getting misused. Neither Dan nor I are particularly adept in these things, so we apologize to any sailors who got irritated by our ignorance.

Then we go Beyond the Wall to talk about the wide world of The Walking Dead, which recently released a teaser for its second spinoff series, which is coming in 2020. We’re both a little baffled by this, to be honest, not in the least because it seems like children and teenagers are the focus of this show. In general … why is this happening? Opinions are welcome.

And finally, we came back to HBO … and Joss Whedon’s new show The Nevers, which announced its cast this week. We have some disagreements about whether we should be excited for this Victorian supernatural drama.

Throughout it all, we also took your comments and responded to them, as is our wont. Thanks for watching!
