The Curious Case of Edmure Tully
Ser Edmure Tully, Lord of Riverrun and Lord Paramount of the Trident, is not a paragon of chivalry, but he is a survivor. Foiled in his bid for the Melted Throne and forced to watch his weird nephew Bran Stark ascend instead, Edmure becomes both indignant and listless. Feeling overlooked and unappreciated, he dons his family armor and sets out on a quest to find more dragon eggs, with the idea that the flying lizards can be hatched and employed in the defense of Bran’s new kingdom.
Traveling far and wide across the most dangerous and least hospitable reaches of the world, Edmure slowly transforms from an ineffectual fop who makes poor decisions to a strange but reliable knight who defends the weak and confronts injustice wherever he finds it. Yes, he tilts at windmills on occasion, and he often finds himself in dire straits, but he has a good heart underneath it all.
