The Kingdom of Black and White

When Westeros is stricken by a plague of ancient, phantom vampires, Arya Stark is called upon to help save the human race from compete extinction. Jaqen H’ghar travels to the faraway western lands to locate Arya and convinces her to return and join the fight against the vampire horde.

The show plunges deep into the byzantine mysteries and history of the Faceless Men. While we know that Jaqen is something other than human, we learn that Arya is becoming more and more inhuman every time she dons a mask. Her relationship with Jon, Bran and Sansa becomes more and more strained, and they fear she becoming more loyal to her cult than she is to the Stark banner.

Soldiers facing the vampire hordes need supernatural support, so the Faceless Men are forced to forge tense alliances with other cults, including the the Maesters of the Citadel, the Red Priests of R’hllor, the Warlocks of Qarth and the Shadowbinders of Asshai.
