The cast of Netflix’s The Last Kingdom is on summer break after filming about half of the show’s fourth season, and they are living their best lives. And we have the pictures to prove it.

But before we get to that, we have another behind-the-scenes look at the new ruler of Wessex: Kind Edward (Timoth Innes), courtesy of onscreen right hand man Steapa (Adrian Bouchet).

Also, leading man Alexander Dreymon (Uhtred) had a special thank you to fans who attended the Stuttgart Comic Con in Germany this past weekend.

Now onto the vacation envy! First up, Mark Rowley (Finan) traverses the Scottish highlands, experiencing all the weather in one day.

Then came “a natural Scottish bath,” aka standing in a pond:

More Rowley below. Good lord, these views. See what we meant about vacation envy? Be sure to swipe through all the slides.

Comrade in arms Arnas Fedaravicius (Sithric) enjoys a more subdued time alongside friends and family somewhere along the Côte d’Azur (French Riviera)…

…before enjoying a beautiful hike to rival Rowley’s, minus the rain:

Elsewhere, Eliza Butterworth proves she’s nothing like her onscreen counterpart Aelswith while enjoying the Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire, England.

Party on, Aelswith!
