Peek inside ‘The Photography of Game of Thrones’

HBO is partnering with Insight Editions to give Game of Thrones fans behind-the-scenes looks at how the worldwide phenomenon was brought to life. Previously, we’ve taken a look at Game of Thrones: The Storyboards — featuring artwork by William Simpson, the lead storyboard artist on the show — and The Art of Game of Thrones — with contributions from production designer Deborah Riley. And Game of Thrones: The Costumes is still to come.

Today, let’s look inside The Photography of Game of Thrones, featuring the beautiful work of the show’s unit photographer, Helen Sloan. So reads the official description:

"Offering a rare peek behind the scenes of one of the most popular and revered television shows of all time, The Photography of Game of Thrones gives fans an exclusive look at some of their favorite characters and moments from the show in gorgeous detail."

There will be plenty of high-quality shows of the show in action, but Sloan captured the cast and crew members before and after the cameras were rolling as well, getting ready to make the magic happen:
