Funko adds new Missandei Pop! figure to its Game of Thrones collection

Game of Thrones may be over, but Funko is still adding to its huge collection of Pop! figures for the series. Most recently, the company revealed plans to release a Ser Brienne of Tarth figure, as well as a Pop! Moments capturing the heart-wrenching “hold the door” scene from season 6, forcing us to remember a scene most of us would like to forget lest we start crying again. A gorgeous Queen in the North version of Sansa is also headed our way, just in case anyone wanted to pledge fealty from the comfort of their own home.

And now, Funko has unveiled another figure, one that we’ve waited far too many seasons for already: Missandei of Narth. Missandei has played a significant role in the series since its third season, when Daenerys frees her from the grip of the slavers in Astapor and welcomes her into her counsel. The two women grow closer as the series continues, and Missadei becomes a dependable presence in the queen’s life — at least until Cersei has her executed during the show’s final season.

But Missandei can live on in fans’ homes courtesy of this Funko Pop!, which is modeled after her look later in the series. Take a look:

The figure shows Missandei wearing her garb from seasons seven and eight, after she’s journeyed to Dragonstone with Daenerys and the rest of her companions. She’s wearing her long, black coat and pants, as well as the dragon pin she seems so fond of.

Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei on the show, was excited to have not one, but two, Funko figures based on her characters coming out soon. She also voiced the Gelfling Deet in the Netflix series Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and fans will soon be able to purchase a Funko figure of her as well:

Deet, along with the other Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Pop! figures, will be available later this month. For Missandei, Game of Thrones fans will need to wait until New York Comic-Con is underway — and thankfully, we don’t have long to go! The convention kicks off on October 3.
