High School dance team does epic tribut to the Avengers
By Corey Smith
Get ready for the best thing you’ll see on the internet today. The Performing Arts Crew Dance Team at Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita, Arizona performed an awesomely-epic seven-minute tribute to the MCU’s phase three starting with the first Avengers film all the way through Avengers: Endgame. Check it out, and you’re welcome:
Did we say you’re welcome? What we meant was, thank you to these students, because this is legitimately wonderful. Choreographed by head coach Kristi Lopez, along with dance instructor Carlos Quihuiz, the performance had it all.
From spot-on interpretative dance moves, to a note-perfect soundtrack that features everything from Alan Silvestri’s Avengers score, to clips of “Snap Yo Finger” by Lil John at the moment Thanos wipes out half the universe, to Snap’s “I’ve got the Power” when Thanos captures the Power Stone, I doubt Disney themselves could have done it better.
Here’s a closer look at the team in costume. Again, I applaud the level of detail, because those aren’t Halloween Express costumes.
And with that, I leave you to return to the monotony of the rest of my day. The internet may never be the same.
