Jamie leads the revolution to victory and saves Murtagh

As we learned during season 4, a revolution is brewing. It started with the Regulator Movement, of which Jamie’s friend Murtagh is a big part. In the season 4 finale, Jamie received a notice to form a militia in opposition to this movement.

The predicament here is that Jamie sort of owes everything to Governor Tyron, who represents the Crown. The only reason Jamie is living on the land where he built Fraser’s Ridge is because he gave an oath. Now, that favor is being called in.

Unfortunately, this puts Jamie in a very awkward position. Does he fulfill his oath to the Crown? Or does he try and save his best friend? I think season 5 will spend a lot of time on this dilemma, and I hope that it results in Jamie saving Murtagh.

After everything they’ve been through, I can’t imagine Jamie doing anything else. The best-case scenario would be Jamie leading the revolution to victory and finding a way to save Murtagh and clear him of any potential charges.

What do you hope to see in season 5? Let’s talk about it in the comment below.
