Filming on the fourth season of Netflix’s The Last Kingdom wrapped last week, and as we await news of a premiere date, the cast continues to bring us behind-the-scenes images from medieval England. Destiny is all!

First up, Arnas Fedaravicius (Sihtric) poses with stuntman Roland Lazók Blinky, and we’re left wondering which is which.

Seriously, how are we supposed to tell the difference between these two?

Shoutout to James Northcote (Aldhelm), the unofficial set photographer looking bored as can be in the background. More from him later.

Next up, one man we could never mistake for someone else — Mark Rowley (Finan) — enjoys some hot wings on set. Are they period appropriate? Who cares?

Still rocking his Last Kingdom haircut, Rowley rocks out with a bit of musical theater. Finan the Bard?

Back on set, Tygo Gernandt (Jackdaw) shares a video from a season 4 night shoot:

This looks suspiciously like the climatic battle at the end of season 2. Perhaps we’re going to revisit the field outside Beamfleot? Or maybe sometimes a field is just a field. In any case, that looks like a major moment.

Elsewhere, a bunch of cast members take a group photo and send me scurrying to IMDb for the proper spelling of half a dozen medieval English names. From left to right, you’ve got Millie Brady (Aethelflaed), Timothy Innes (King Edward), Adrian Schiller (Aethelhelm), Adrian Bouchet (Steapa), Cavan Clerkin (Father Pyrlig) and Eliza Butterworth (Aelswith). Whew.

In a more tender moment, Fedaravicius enjoys the stunt team’s work alongside his girlfriend, Sarah Warnaar. Photo courtesy of Mr. Northcote. We’re wondering where Northcote hides his camera between takes.

And finally, Northcote appears in front of the camera for a low-def dance.

As always, thanks to Northcote and the rest of the cast for being our spies on set. Hopefully we haven’t seen the last of these pics!

Next. Deadpool writers plan for his integration into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. dark
