Stranger Things blooper reel reveals David Harbour can’t say “grandma”

facebooktwitterreddit

The Stranger Things writers official Twitter account has amassed 500,000 followers, which is cause for celebration! And what better way to celebrate than to give something special back to the fans? This blooper video of David Harbour (Jim Hopper) being unable to say the word “grandma” without bursting into giggles is special indeed:

That was even funnier than I was hoping.

You may remember this season 3 scene, where Hopper sits down with Mike and Eleven in an attempt to set down some ground rules for their behind-closed-doors teenage romance. He makes up a lie about Mike’s grandma to get him to leave, but Harbour can’t quite seem to get it out. “What’s wrong with you?” asks a laughing Millie Bobby Brown. He’s delightful, that’s what.

David Harbour, we demand you post a video of yourself saying word “grandma” without laughing. We believe in you!

And while we’re talking about Harbour, we might as well mention that he’s made things Instagram official: Harbour is dating English singer Lily Allen!

Now, “Allen” is a pretty common last name, but in this case, there’s a special connection: Lily Allen is the sister of Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen, aka Theon Greyjoy! She even wrote a song about him way back when he was slacking off before his acting career got rolling:

Oh, how times have changed.
