Oh my god, you guys. This has been an insane couple of days for news. How insane? Watch us discuss it in the newest episode of Take the Black Live.

• HBO opted not to go ahead with Bloodmoon, its series set in the ancient past of Westeros. Let us all have a moment of silence.
• Okay, moment over. HBO ordered straight to series a show all about the Dance of the Dragons: House of the Dragon. Let’s dig in.
• Back to bad news, Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss will not be making a new trilogy of Star Wars movies as originally planned. They had an interesting week in general.

And on top of all that, we talk about some of the terrific-looking TV coming down the pipeline for the rest of the year, because if we don’t do it now we’re going to blink and it’s going to be spring.
