Outlander fans have yet another thing to get excited about during this Droughtlander! According to ClaireAndJamie.com, we can now pre-order the ninth book of the series, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.
Unfortunately, we do not have a release date for the book just yet, but rest assured that author Diana Gabaldon plans on finishing up by the end of the year. But even if we don’t yet have a specific date to make on our calendars, this is still something to get hyped over.
You can pre-order a signed copy of the book at The Poisoned Pen, which is currently the only place accepting preorders. (Retailers like Amazon usually don’t make books available for preorder until a release date is set.) A signed copy of the book will be mailed to you whenever available. They don’t mention unsigned copies, but surely they’re around the corner.
As for when the book will actually ship, that’s still up in the air. There are a lot of things that go into a book release beyond writing it. We need that Audible version too! Not to mention the cover art, etc. So get comfortable, guys, there’ll be some waiting to do. At least we have the series returning for season 5 in February!
And if the book doesn’t release until after the end of the next season, then you will have the perfect thing to get you through the next Droughtlander. It’s a win-win situation, if you’re asking me.
