The Outer Rim Territories

Home to bounty hunters, smugglers and all sorts of outlaws, the Outer Rim Territories (also called the “Outer Rim” or “Outer Systems”) is the frontier of the known galaxy before it extends into Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. Though sparsely populated due to its huge size, the Outer Rim is home to many diverse worlds and hardy cultures. Some of the Outer Rim planets and people we’ve seen at one point or another include Tatooine, Endor (the Ewoks), Gamorr (the Gamorreans) and Ryloth (the Twi’leks).

Although The Mandalorian doesn’t always identify the planets Mando visits, we know he was initially using the volcanic world of Nevarro as a home base, getting bounty missions (and tracking fobs) from Greef Karga and working for The Client; Nevarro was also the location of the Mandalorian enclave and the Armorer.

Mando meets Ugnaught moisture farmer Kuill (Nick Nolte, voice) on the desert planet Arvala-7, where he also finds Baby Yoda. Since then, Mando has defended the krill farmers on the lush planet of Sorgan and visited Luke Skywalker’s old stomping grounds (Mos Eisley and surrounds) on the ever-familiar Tatooine.
