4. The return of poor Adam Milligan

Remember Adam (Jake Abel)? Sam and Dean’s half-brother who was trapped in the cage in hell with Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) and Michael? The sibling who was subsequently forgotten about not long after? I wonder how he’s doing! We’ll find out soon enough. Jake Abel returns in episode 8.

There are so many questions surrounding Adam: what did he go through in the cage? What is his relationship like with Michael after spending so much time with him? How is he adjusting after being set free? And does he hold a grudge against Sam and Dean? Because in his mind, they left him in the cage to rot and carried on saving each other instead. Or is all forgiven and will he team up with them?

This reunion has been a long time coming, though it’s unlikely to be all hugs and tearful catch-ups.
