7. One more crossover episode

One of Supernatural‘s cleverest, most entertaining episodes was season 13’s ScoobyNatural, which was a Supernatural/Scooby-Doo crossover. The Winchesters and Castiel became trapped in the animated Scooby-Doo universe as cartoon versions of themselves. They then had to team up with the Scooby gang to solve a mystery, which helped them get back to their own world. Naturally, Dean took the opportunity to flirt with Daphne.

It was inspired work and exactly the kind of creativity and humor that makes Supernatural so special. Another attempt at something similar is bound to be a win.

Fortunately, Misha Collins, who plays the angel Castiel, has revealed that showrunner Andrew Dabb is planning another crossover episode. While it won’t be an Arrow crossover, as fans had hoped, Collins told Digital Spy: “I do know that Andrew has been trying to figure out another crossover. But it’s very challenging, because getting all of the powers-that-be to agree to the rights for that kind of thing takes a certain special elixir to make it happen. He’s attempted to get a few really great properties for crossovers, that I thought were great ideas.”
