Take the Black Live: Marvel trouble, the Oscars, Fire and Blood
By Dan Selcke
Today on Take the Black Live, there’s so much to cover there’s still new stuff coming in partway through the show! Welcome to the internet’s fines program about all things nerdy. Let’s get started.
I’m referring, of course, to the news that House of the Dragon, HBO’s upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series, has a release window. Our unfiltered reactions are here preserved for all eternity.
But that’s not all. We also get into the upcoming paperback release of Fire & Blood, a few recent problems Marvel has been having, the coming of several winter and spring TV shows and movies (did everybody get together and decide to reveal new trailers this week?), and the announcement of the 2020 Oscar nominees. Those have stirred up a good deal of controversy. We make sense of it for you.
The Take the Black Podcast is on iTunes and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.
