Yes, Florence Pugh’s brother was on Game of Thrones, and more news

Florench Pugh is an up-and-coming actor with an Oscar nomination for her excellent work in Little Women. And yes, if you’re thinking you’ve seen that last name before, it’s because her brother Sebastian played Trystane Martell on Game of Thrones.

Granted, Pugh’s time as Trystane was pretty unremarkable — I don’t think many people were too upset when his cousin stabbed him through the face at the top of season 6 — but still, that’s a fun connection to make. Also, he acts under the name Toby Sebastian, so it took people a while to catch on.

Now Florence needs to appear on House of the Dragon and Sebastian needs an Oscar nomination, to balance things out.

Speaking of comparatively minor Game of Thrones actors showing up in unexpected situation, did anyone else notice Lino Facioli — best known as man-child Robin Arryn — show up on the new season of Netflix’s teen drama Sex Education? Because the internet did.

With any luck, he’ll have shaken off his reputation as a late-blooming breastfeeding enthusiast in no time. Who knows? Maybe one day Lino Facioli can be as big as Kit Harington (Jon Snow), who’s currently filming a role in The Eternals, Marvel’s next big superhero tentpole movie. In fact, we even have a behind-the-scenes picture!

The Eternals is about a race of eternal beings who have protected the planet for millennia. The movie will reunite Harington with his old Game of Thrones costar Richard Madden (Robb Stark), who plays one of those beings. Haringotn’s role is a little down to earth; he plays Dane Whitman, an ordinary human who becomes the medieval-themed superhero Black Knight.

Is that typecasting? We’ll reserve judgment until the movie comes out in November. In the picture above, Harington is kissing Gemma Chan, who plays the Eternal Sersi.

Also in things that make you say, “Awwwww,” we interrupt this post to bring you pictures of Emilia Clarke’s new dog:

“Erryone meet Ted. Super Ted. My new main squeeze. Light of my goddamn life. Ready to fill this instagram feed to bursting whilst still being able to leave room in a teacup.” I am all in for cute Instagram pics of puppies. Bonus points if you put him in a dragon outfit.

While we’re talking about Clarke, check out the recently released blooper reel for her romantic comedy Last Christmas:

Clarke is nothing if not an actor who rolls with the punches.

Meanwhile, Clarke former onscreen husband and current Aquaman Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) took a break from filming a new Netflix project, Sweet Girl, to visit sick kids in the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh:

And once again, we see that Momoa is a class act.

And finally, Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) posted some memorable moments from her trip to the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Of course, she was supportive of Peter Dinklage, who finally won a statue after six nominations:

But Christie may have been more excited to meet acting legend Glenn Close, and who can blame her?

And that’s the world in Game of Thrones celebrity news! I think we can all agree that these are the stories that really matter.
