Let’s dreamcast HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon

A new Game of Thrones show is in the works at HBO, and it’s called House of the Dragon. Based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood, the show is a prequel set 100+ years before the events of the main series. It’s all about about House Targaryen, specifically the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons.

The Dance was also known as the Targaryen War of Succession, and it pitted Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen against her half-brother Prince Aegon II for control of the Iron Throne. For two years dragon fought dragon in the skies above the Seven Kingdoms, and in the end, neither claimant was left standing.

It’s a great story with a lot of fascinating characters. So join me as I dreamcast the main players, and please keep in mind that, as was the case when Game of Thrones was adapted for television, many of the characters were aged up to fit a story with a lot of mature themes. Also, a lot of the actors I choose will be wearing platinum blonde wigs and learning how to speak with an English accent.
