Take the Black Live: Why did Stranger Things give away the game?

It’s time for another round of Take the Black Live, the one and only show on the internet that dares to talk about things like movies, TV, sci-fi and fantasy. Or if there’s another, I haven’t heard of it.

We’ve got a bunch to cover today. We don’t spend a ton of time on any one thing, but there’s a lot of it. Quantity beats quality.

• The Witcher is staffing up for season 2, including by adding a fan favorite Game of Thrones veteran!
• We got our first official look at (what I think is) the Emond’s Field set on Amazon’s The Wheel of Time show!
• Stranger Things gave away a big spoiler in a teaser for its upcoming fourth season. Good idea? Bad idea?
• We finally got a look at Robert Pattinson as…Batman. How does he look in the iconic bat-suit?
• HBO Max is coming. Is it doomed?

Also, I wax rhapsodic about Succession, which I just learned is as good as everyone says, and Mia has a new favorite Disney+ show!
