Minor Characters We’d Like to See return in Season 2 (Part II)

The Star Wars universe is packed to the space gills with all sorts of interesting mercenaries, bounty hunters and maverick pilots, but we’ve found a warm spot in our hearts for some of the ones we’ve already met, and we hope to see them again.

Mayfield: Played with the appropriate humor and sass by comedian Bill Burr, he’s the kind of unreliable but clever space-scruff who’s a lot of fun to watch. It’s more than possible that his latest scam could have him running into Mando again.

Xi’an: As Game of Thrones fans, we’d all love to see more of Natalia Tena (the wilding spearwife Osha), especially if she delivers more of the wickedly fun performance that made her Twi’lek mercenary so engaging. She and Mando have a past, so why not drill down on that story goldmine for an episode or two?

Burg: While the big, devilish Devaronian (Clancy Brown) is unpleasant to be around, he’s also that bullheaded wild card of the bunch you always suspect is ready to change things up to his best advantage. He’s also great for fight scenes.

Trapper Wolf: if Jon Favreau gets to keep making onscreen appearances in The Mandalorian, then so should fellow showrunner Dave Filoni. The narrative will likely require New Republic X-Wing pilots to make appearance from time to time, so why shouldn’t Trapper Wolf be the space jockey they always call on?
