Will Season 2 Introduce any new characters?

The producers of The Mandalorian sure seem to enjoy celebrity cameos, and we expect them to continue season 2. Season 1 featured recognizable faces like Werner Herzog (The Client), Mark Boone Junior (Ranzar Malk), Amy Sedaris (Peli Motto), Bill Burr (Mayfield), Natalia Tena (Xi’an), Clancy Brown (Burg), and Nick Nolte (voice, Kuliil).

You can bet your bottom credit we’ll get another star-studded lineup in season 2, but there isn’t a lot of info on who’s in just yet. It looks probable that WWE superstar Sasha Banks will make an appearance in season 2, though we’re unsure if she’ll prove a recurring character or an apparent one-off like Ming-Na Wa. Her casting makes sense. Like actor/MMA star Gina Carano (Cara Dune), Banks could play a soldier (former or current), someone who needs to know how to handle themselves in a fight (and knows how to make it look convincing onscreen).
