Who was the Mandalorian who rescued young Dyn Djaren?

We have no idea who young Dyn Djaren’s helmeted Mandalorian rescuer could be, or whether he might reappear in a future storyline. What do we know about him? Not much, though he may be a member of the Death Watch, a Mandalorian rogue unit opposed to the pacifist government in Mandalore.

This Mandalorian rescuer may remain faceless and uninvolved, serving as a representative of the Mandalorian code regarding Foundlings. Or he could prove an important mentor and father figure for Dyn as the youth strove to join the Mandalorian Order, which could make the older man a vital part of Dyn’s story.

Let’s just say that if fellow Mandalorians have the same soft spots in their hearts for the kids they rescue (human or otherwise) that Mando has, then our hero may well have an established relationship with the man who saved him. Jon Favreau and the show’s writers can go pretty much anywhere with this character, if they wish.
