Minor Characters we’d like to see return in Season 2 (Part I)

Beyond Mando and The Child, which other characters might we see return in season 2 of The Mandalorian? We’ll assume that our new arch-villain Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Espositio) will return, but we’re not clear about the rest. Season 1 produced a lot of fan favorites, and we hope that a lot of them cross paths with our heroic bounty hunter and his Force-sensitive sidekick once again.

Greef Karga: It seems near impossible that Karga (Carl Weathers) won’t pop up in places, though perhaps with less screen time, since Mando will likely be adventuring far beyond Nevarro. It’s possible that Karga might join Mando’s crew at some point, however.

Cara Dune: Another seemingly indispensable character is Cara Dune (Gina Carano), the bighearted former rebel shocktrooper with skills to match Mando’s, a lady whose freewheeling, wisecracking attitude pairs up so well with Dyn Djarin’s stoic, reticent demeanor. She’ll certainly bump into Mando again; did we mention he still has a crew position available?

Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris), The Child and the Mandalorian in THE MANDALORIAN, exclusively on Disney+

Peli Motto: Weathered but caring, the mouthy Motto space mechanic (played fabulously by Amy Sedaris) and her droids just feel designed to join Mando’s crew at one point or another. She’s also the kind of resourceful caregiver Mando could use for his Force-rambunctious Child.

Paz Vizla: Jon Favreau himself voices this rough-edged, bulky but devoted Mandalorian bounty hunter (with a big, nasty blaster machine gun). We’d like to see him again, we’re not sure if he survived Moff Gideon’s assault on the Nevarro covert. Viewers inspecting the Mandalorian casualties’ beskar armor pile in “Redemption” have reported Paz’s helmet is missing. Vizla is physically portrayed by former MMA fighter Tait Fletcher.
