The debut of Westworld season 3 is just around the corner, and those lucky enough to get advance screeners are filling us in on some interesting details. For example, Entertainment Weekly has it that Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have cameos as Delos technicians, Delos being the company responsible for running the immersive theme parks filled with realistic androids increasingly bent on destroying mankind.

Although EW doesn’t reveal anything beyond the pair playing a couple of Delos techs, I think we can all use our imaginations and hope for a Game of Thrones-style Delo park that we highly suggest be called Westerosworld.

Although I wouldn’t expect the show to go all the way with that. More likely, we’re talking about a lighthearted moment that that plays up a joke that was going around a couple years ago. “Oh my god, what if Game of Thrones is all happening in a medieval-themed park and all the characters are robots?” You get it.

As for Benioff and Weiss, it looks like we’re finally going to be seeing more of them, the pair having been pretty quiet since the airing of Game of Thrones season 8, which was subject to intense backlash. There’s the Westworld cameo, they’re pulled the curtain back on a new Netflix project they’re producing, and their interview at last year’s Austin Film Festival will appear on the new season of On Story.

But back to Westworld, the new season starts on March 15. The new episodes will find Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) leaving the titular park and bringing the fight to the human world, where she teams up with a wage slave named Caleb (Aaron Paul) and other new characters to loosen humanity’s grip on the world. Yay!
