We’re heading into the final three episodes of the first season of Star Trek: Picard, and CBS All Access has released some shiny new photos from the next episode, entitled “Broken Pieces.” Here’s the synopsis:

"When devastating truths behind the Mars attack are revealed, Picard realizes just how far many will go to preserve secrets stretching back generations, all while the La Sirena crew grapples with secrets and revelations of their own. Narissa directs her guards to capture Elnor, setting off an unexpected chain of events on the Borg cube."

Episode 8 was written by Michael Chabon and was directed by Maja Vrvilo. Check out the teaser:

“Something far worse is coming,” says Narissa. I’m sure it’s fine. Now, let’s get to those beautiful pics!

First up, Jeri Ryan returns as Seven of Nine:

Seven of Nine will assist Elnor (Evan Evagora) as he attempts to escape the Romulan-controlled Borg ship:

I’m looking forward to seeing these two kick some Romulan ass:

In fact, here’s a scene from “Broken Pieces” showing Elnor and Seven of Nine bonding over their mutually shared disdain for the bad guys:

Elnor looks like he gives fantastic hugs.

Moving on, aboard the La Sirena, Soji (Isa Briones) looks like she’s getting some piloting in. I wonder how Rios (Santiago Cabrera) will handle that.

Oh, he’s taking it in stride:

Here’s an employee meeting to discuss who’s been stealing Picard’s chicken sandwich out of the fridge:

“Lable your food and it won’t get eaten, J.L.,” says Raffi (Michelle Hurd). Maybe.

They seem to be looking at Jurati (Alison Pill) and Soji approaching the table. Jurati took the sandwich, didn’t she?

But seriously, Jurati’s been in a coma since flushing a tracking device out of her system. She’s been spying on the team for the Federation this whole time, but came around. But is it too late?

Star Trek: Picard airs on Thursdays, only on CBS All Access.

Next. Stranger Things 4 is “bigger, bolder and more intricate than ever”. dark
