The Westworld season 3 finale is upon us. Yes, it’s only Episode 8, but that’s all we’re getting this season, so bring yourself back online and let’s get to this gorgeous new look at “Crisis Theory.”
First, in a thrilling promo for the finale, William (Ed Harris) caps off a flash of exciting images with a history-making line:
“I’m going to save the f*cking world.” Only Ed Harris could say that makes me hopeful and also afraid for my life.
In photos, we have Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) wearing the blue prairie dress she was wearing back in season 1. It looks like we’ll be getting a flashback or simulation or something:

Some fans on Reddit think they’ve figured out this scene. In season 1, you see, Dolores talks to Teddy (James Marsden) about her father using a “Judas cow” to trick the other cows to come to the slaughterhouse. In the most recent episode, “Passed Pawn,” Dolores encourages Caleb (Aaron Paul) to enact her “revolution.” The theory goes that she’s getting him to lead all the other humans to…something.
"Okay, actually wild thing I just noticed, someone else may have pointed this out. from westworld"
We still don’t know exactly what Dolores wants to do with the humans. Save them? Murder them all? Whatever she’s, Caleb is in the middle of it.

And the Man in Black is having none of it:

He looks like a demented cross between Walter White from Breaking Bad and Hannibal Lector.
Last we saw William, he was holding a gun on
Crockett and Tubbs
Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth), about to make good on his promise to kill all the hosts still operational. Unfortunately, this pic only shows us the start of that encounter, not how it ends up:

Caleb (Aaron Paul) looks like he’s had enough of someone’s sh*t:

I mentioned Breaking Bad before, and now all I can think of is Jesse Pinkman:

Maybe Caleb is mad at Serac (Vincent Cassel), who’s plans to control humanity through the supercomputer Rehoboam are falling apart spectacularly.

Or maybe he’s just freaked out that Dolores took off her skin. Last we saw her, she’d had her arm blown apart by Maeve (Thandie Newton), so some rebuilding is in order.

I stan avenging samurai warrior Maeve so freaking hard.
