Will Jamie end up saving Claire?

Of course, the biggest question on all our minds is: will Claire be saved when all is said and done? Jamie is about to start a war for Claire, so I’m going to go ahead and shout “YES!” from my rooftop. I’m 100% certain that Jamie will come through in saving the love of his life.

I think the issue will come down to not just saving her, but helping her through whatever comes next. As I’ve already mentioned, Claire is about to go through something very traumatic, and the days to follow are not going to be easy for her.

It almost feels like it will parallel Jamie’s devastating journey after season 1’s penultimate episode, “Wentworth Prison.” Ugh, I do not miss Blackjack Randall at all. He was horrible, vile, and did some horrible things to Jamie that I can’t bear to speak about again.

The point is that while Jamie will likely save Claire before her captors take her life, he will find her in a much different state than he’s used to. He will have to work hard to keep her alive, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

That will be the saving he will need to do, and I know he won’t fail her.

Outlander fans, we ought to brace ourselves for whatever the season 5 finale has planned for us. It won’t be easy and it won’t be pretty. But we’re in it together as we always have been, and we will get through it. Plus, this is Jamie and Claire we’re talking about — they always manage, right?
