Into the Arrowverse: Supergirl returns, The Flash falters

Supergirl returns to the Arrowverse this week. And this is no ordinary return episode; this is the directorial debut of Melissa Benoist, aka Supergirl herself. Not only is she kicking butt and saving lives, but the Woman of Steel also took a beat to go behind the camera to direct the episode…and she did great!

As far as The Flash goes, I’m still not convinced this season is going in the direction it should be, and I know many don’t agree. I just expect a lot from the series because this particular character has such a rich story in the comics, and I don’t feel the show has always done it justice.

Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow continue to keep us entertained this week with some fun twists and turns. I can’t wait to talk about the hellhound demon.
