Raise your hand if you were completely caught by surprise by the series premiere of Stargirl. Honestly, I was not expecting it to be as good as it was, but I’m ecstatic at what the rest of the freshman season has in store for us.

And perhaps there was no better time for it to premiere given that Supergirl and Batwoman both concluded their seasons this week. For shows that had to end a few episodes earlier than expected, they managed to pull it off with very few hiccups, especially Batwoman.

And speaking of Batwoman, with a heavy heart I must acknowledge Ruby Rose’s sudden exit as the show’s lead. Just days after announcing the next DCTV crossover would be focused on Batwoman and Superman, we learned that Rose is hanging up her Batsuit. She will be missed dearly, and whoever is recast in her role has huge shoes to fill.

With that said, let’s dive into this week’s Arrowverse shows, starting with Ruby Rose’s final episode as Batwoman. And of course, if you have not caught any of these episodes just yet, please remembers: there are SPOILERS ahead!
