Dreamcasting the world of The Wheel of Time

Krivoklat Castle as…Fal Dara
The Borderlands will be difficult to depict. They are a mountainous land made up of many military nations spread along the northern border of the continent. Once numerous, only four Kingdoms remain, united in the fight against the encroaching darkness. The last standing countries are Saldaea, Arafel, Kandor and Sheinar, which rose from the ruins of Malkier.
There are a few significant locations the main characters will visit within the Borderlands, the first of which is Fal Dara. This city has several gates and a wall studded with towers that encloses shops, inns, and homes around the central fortress, with farms outside the wall.
Křivoklát Castle is located in Central Bohemia in the Czech Republic, and would be a neat site to recreate Fal Dara. It is an excellent location surrounded by a forest full of game, concealing a mighty castle town. This royal residence was built in the 13th century and was a favorite of many Czech kings. The castle hosted many festivities and feasts, but also many consequential political talks and fateful diplomatic negotiations, making it one of the oldest and most important castles in the country.
