Jaimie Alexander as Lanfear
Jaime Alexander would be a fitting choice for the role of Lanfear. The actress certainly looks like she could pull off a character notorious for her astonishing beauty. Lanfear is commonly referred to as the Daughter of the Night, one of 13 principle followers of the Dark One, the series’ looming mega-villain. These followers are also referred to as Forsaken.
Often referred to as one of the most beautiful women who have ever lived, Lanfear is tall, has smooth, ivory-pale skin with long black hair and black eyes. She often appears in a white dress with a silver belt and matching silver-worked boots. She often rides a tall white mare with a saddle that is, once again, made with silver.
Jaime Alexander has found success staring as Jane Doe in the NBC series Blindspot. But you may also recognize her as Sif, from Marvel’s Thor movies. I had a few other choices in mind, like Eva Green or Emmanuel Chriqui, but Alexander really hit the nail on the head when it comes to what readers picture when they think of Lanfear.
