When they hooked up in the Game of Thrones season 7 finale, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) thrilled Jonerys shippers who firmly believed they would rule the Seven Kingdoms together by the end of the series. However, after Jon learned Dany was actually his aunt, the thought of continuing a romantic relationship with her seemed to repulse him. And after all was said and done, Daenerys was dead by Jon’s hand, carried away by Drogon to parts unknown.

Not long ago, Kit Harington talked with fans on a Zoom call. Naturally, the group got to talking about Game of Thrones, and Harington let his feelings on the good ship Jonerys be known.

“Definitely, because that’s the Song of Ice and Fire,” replied a fan on the call.

“I totally agree with you,” Harington said.
