Game of Thrones season 7

Season 7 opened with Cersei Lannister laying out her plan while walking over a huge map of Westeros. That’s still one of the coolest sets they’ve had on the show.

At Winterfell, characters like Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) and Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey) met for the first time:

Below, we catch Samwell in the act of removing the greyscale fror Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen).

Seeing the camera doesn’t make this any less gross.

Season 7 famously featured a cameo from Ed Sheeran, reportedly because he and Maisie Williams are buds. Checks out:

Early on the season, we got a brawl between Euron and Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan). Here’s the rehearsal:

After a long time away from home, Arya finally made it back to Winterfell in season 7, where she met her double…her stunt double:

The most spectacular battle of the season was the Loot Train Attack, when Daenerys let the Lannister know what facing someone with dragons was like. There’s no forgetting the moment Jaime charged down Drogon by his lonesome, particularly for those camera operators:

The other big battle sequence went down at a frozen lake beyond the Wall, where a lot of favorite characters were charged by bloodthirsty wights.

The season ended with everyone meeting up at the Dragonpit, where apparently Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) has something amazing on his phone:
