Watch pro stuntmen pay tribute to the fight scenes on The Witcher
By Dan Selcke
Please enjoy these professional stuntmen putting on Geralt of Rivia wigs and going into battle like only a Witcher can. It’s impressive fight choreography.
Today, for no other reason than because it’s fun, I invite you to watch a bunch of stuntmen get into fantasy outfits and give their interpretations of fight scenes from The Witcher…now:
Kudos for the guy in the ratty Geralt of Rivia wig.
But seriously, that is some impressive fight choreography, and with special effects to boot! I don’t even mind the cardboard cut-out bushes. If Netflix is looking for anyone to choreograph fights for the show’s upcoming second season, it could do a lot worse than these guys.
And if you’re craving other easy-watching Witcher content, kindly observe what the Netflix show would look like if a black cat was following Geralt around all the time for no reason:
"If the Witcher had a black cat from witcher"
And finally, here’s Joey Batey (Jaskier) reads a particularly cheeky section of The Witcher books by Andrzej Sapkowski:
This has been your Witcher minute for the day. You’re welcome.
As for the show itself, we’re probably still a ways off from learning anything solid about its sophomore season. The show took a break from filming thanks to the coronavirus, but it’s now back in business, with new safety precautions firmly in place. Let’s hope everything goes smoothly and we’ll get to pick back up with Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri and the rest before too long.
