12. Darth Malgus

Born on the Sith Capital World of Dromund Kaas, Darth Malgus showed signs that he was going to become a powerful Sith warrior at an early age. Malgus, along with his Master Vindican, would one day lead an assault to reclaim the Sith World of Korriban.

During this assault, Malgus encountered Satele Shan, a Jedi and descendant of the famous Jedi Knight Revan and Bastila Shan. The two would encounter each other on other occasions as Malgus led Sith warriors into battle across the galaxy.

Malgus’ most notable achievement was his attack on the Republic Capital of Coruscant. He even headed up a strike team that infiltrated the Jedi Temple. The attack was a complete success, with Malgus and his team destroying the Temple and killing at least half of the Jedi High Council. Afterwards, the Sith fleet laid waste to the city. Fans still remember this moment from the game Star Wars: The Old Republic:

With that epic a story, it’s easy to see why we need Malgus on the big screen. Consider the trailer above as a kind of pilot episode or movie preview and you’ll be convinced. Alas, we’re still waiting on some big wig at Disney/Lucasfilm to give the go-ahead. Fingers crossed.
