The 20 best Star Wars characters who’ve never appeared on the big screen
By Callum Gunn
20. Mister Bones
Even fans who have never heard of Mister Bones may well have heard his catchphrase: “Roger Roger!” Although Mister Bones himself hasn’t been in any movies, that phrase showed up in the prequels, spoken by by the lovable B1-series battle droids:
Mister Bones is a member of the B1-series, with some interesting upgrades and a homicidal nature. With a sword for one arm and a blaster for another, painted red and literally covered in bones, Mister Bones is one of the most recognizable Star Wars characters out there.
Mister Bones, who enjoys singing and humming while he murders and maims his targets, serves as the bodyguard, friend and companion to Temmin Wesley, who created him from scavenged parts. The two traveled together across the galaxy between the time of the original trilogy and the sequels, even encountering Princess Leia Organa during one of their adventures.
Mister Bones lasted a lot longer than most B1 units, but his time did eventually come to an end when he was disintegrated to death. But he left behind a legacy that needs to be explored in full on the big screen. As a murderous droid with an awesome look and a flare for the dramatic who steals the spotlight from his maker, he’s made for the movies. Mister Bones is awesome!
Fingers crossed some of these characters will appear in front of us 30 feet tall one day.
