8. Darth Sion

Darth Sion, known as the Lord of Pain, lived during the Old Sith Wars. Like most Sith, he came to bloody end. However, unlike most Sith, Darth Sion didn’t stay dead. Upon being struck down, he embraced all of his pain, hatred and anger and achieved immortality.

Becoming immortal leaves Darth Sion disfigured. One of the most recognizable characters in Star Wars, he looks like a zombie on steroids.

Darth Sion was able to rise back up no matter how many times he was struck down. He even lived long enough to allay himself with Darth Revan. It was around this time that Darth Sion did what he is best known for: Forming the Sith Triumvirate with two other Sith Lords, which brought the Jedi Order to the brink of extinction. He and his fellow members made their first appearance in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

A Darth Sion movie, or even just a Star Wars movie featuring Darth Sion, would take fans on a journey not only across the galaxy, but through time as well. And there are plenty of fans who would love to see the Sith Triumvirate onscreen.

Speaking of the Sith Triumvirate, the other two members are pretty interesting in their own rights:
