Doctor Who: Teaser for Time Lord Victorious promises dark times ahead

Doctor Who’s Time Lord Victorious is heading to a comic book store, immersive experience, escape room, book store, and much more near you very soon!

Doctor Who has been teasing the upcoming multi-platform adventure Time Lord Victorious for months now. We’ve heard that the story will span not just multiple platforms (comic books, escape rooms, audio adventures, short stories, etc) but will also tell a story that involves the return of past Doctors, companions and other characters.

I’m not sure how they pulled it off if lockdown — or maybe that’s why everybody was available — but it looks like we’re about to get one of the coolest Doctor Who stories in history. Now, a new teaser sets the stage, as a lone Dalek endeavors to warn everyone he can about a dangerous threat: the Doctor.

A Dalek warning others about the Doctor? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? We have no idea where Doctor Who is taking us with Time Lord Victorious, but who’s to say the entire universe hasn’t been flipped on its head? Villains could now be heroes, heroes could now be villains…the possibilities are endless and really freaking exciting.

While the teaser doesn’t give us much information, if you head to the official Time Lord Victorious website, it breaks down the stories, their titles, and what format they will be in. There’s even a timeline to help you understand the right order in which to experience the stories. It’s quite intricate.

Time Lord Victorious will kick off with “A Dalek Awakens,” a UK-only escape room with dates and times in Reading and  Birmingham Resorts World. It remains to be seen if this escape room will go global, but if not, don’t worry: you can still follow Time Lord Victorious without experiencing every part of it.

There is plenty of stuff headed our way in the days to come, so my note to all fellow Whovians is: study the Time Lord Victorious timeline, commit it to memory, and mark all the important release and launch dates in your calendar. It’s going to be amazing.
