5 reasons why the Incarnations of Immortality books would make a great series

2. At its core, Incarnations of Immortality is a satisfying love story.
There’s a love story in Incarnations of Immortality, much of it revolving around the character of Luna Kaftan. She’s Death’s soulmate, although she has non-romantic relationships with many of the Incarnations that reveal themselves from book to book.
It’s a love story told in a many-layered, slow-burn kind of way as only this series can do it, and it culminates in a shocking conclusion that makes you want to read all over again. If a show is done well, it’ll make you want to watch from the beginning.
We can compare it to the way Game of Thrones handled love stories: that show had a lot of couples whose stories were told over the course of seasons: Jon Snow and Ygritte, Cersei and Jaime, and finally Jon and Daenerys. Those love stories inspire characters to act in certain ways and set up their final fates. It’s the same in Incarnations of Immortality.
