Disney gives us new Mandalorian posters! Also, we basically have confirmation that someone from Star Wars Rebels is showing up…

Gaze on Disney’s works, ye Star Wars fan, and delight. The studio has released four new posters from the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian, and our hype has officially gone into light speed.

We start, of course, with the “star” of the show, Din Djarin, the Mandalorian himself:

But of course, everyone knows that the real star of The Mandalorian is Din’s adorable companion, the Child, better known as Baby Yoda:

I know it’s impossible but I really one Baby Yoda’s little floating pram. I don’t even have a baby and I want one.

As for other characters, we get posters of the former Rebel shock trooper Cara Dune (Gina Carano)…

…and Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), the leader of the bounty hunting organization where the Mandalorian used to get his work, before his new mission became finding Baby Yoda’s people, wherever they are:

Sometimes it can feel like The Mandalorian has a cast of two — Din Djarin and Baby Yoda — but in the second season, it looks like Disney is shoring up the cast. The only important character not to get their own poster is villain Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), and he wants to kidnap Baby Yoda and use him for nefarious purposes, so he doesn’t get one.

However, the real news about season 2 is how many guest characters from other Star Wars series there are gonna be. Here’s a list, if you please:

  • Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano
  • Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett
  • Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth, a character from the Star Wars novels
  • Katee Sackhoff as Mandalorian warrior Bo-Katen

We’ve also heard that Star Wars Rebels character Sabine Wren will show up, possibly played by WWE wrestler Sasha Banks. And lately, The Haunting of Bly Manor star Rahul Kohl has been heavily hinting that he’s going to play the Jedi Ezra Bridger, another character from Rebels. In fact, he just tweeted out a new pic that, in my mind, basically confirms this:

You’re filming a new show? You’re wearing a Lucasfilm shirt? Not subtle, Mr. Kohl.

The Mandalorian season 2 premieres on Disney+ on October 30.
