5 Easter eggs you may have missed in The Mandalorian premiere
From an unexpected Deadwood reunion to new info about monsters first introduced in the original Star Wars, The Mandalorian premiere was full of Easter eggs!
Rejoice, Star Wars fans: The Mandalorian drought is finally over! The first episode of season 2 premiered on October 30 on Disney+, and we’re eager to get back into the continuing adventures of Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin, Baby Yoda, and their friends.
The last season concluded with Mando being tasked with finding the Child’s species and reuniting him with them. While this season will surely bring a lot of movement on that front, the premiere episode, “The Marshal,” was mostly a fun standalone involving Mando helping save a village from a fearsome Krayt dragon. It was the longest episode of the show yet, clocking in at almost an hour, and it was packed with Easter eggs for the observant fan.
Here are five things you might have missed during the season 2 premiere!

Gor Koresh is voiced by who?
In the opening sequence, Mando and the Child visit a fighting pit looking for an Abyssin named Gor Koresh. He’s the one who tells Mando that a Mandalorian is on Tatooine before Mando leaves him hanging by his ankles from a light post.
John Wick actor John Leguizamo voices this one-eyed hustler, who tried to acquire Mando’s beskar armor. Listen carefully, or you might miss this fun little cameo.
The first season of The Mandalorian was full of great cameos, with people like Nick Nolte, Taika Waititi, Amy Sedaris, Bill Burr, and Werner Herzog showing up in small roles. Now, John Leguizamo joins them.
